I thought her performance was good not great though only because she’s not natural! And considering the fact that she did so horribly at the BET Awards last year, I think she has really been working on her vocal ability because her voice has NEVER seemed natural to me. It always sounds like she’s trying to hard to go into the riffs and high notes however she does stay on key when doing it, so I ain’t mad at her! I’m not a Keri Hilson fan AT ALL, but to think that Rihanna would do just as good or even better is just ridiculous! Seriously, Rihanna sounds horrible even when she has a live band, with a DJ, along with an orchestra behind her! So thinking that she could actually sing with only an acoustic guitar is PREPOSTEROUS!!!

I never knew Keri had this in her. It was cool to me. Keri is not a powerhouse vocalist nor Beyonce or Rhianna for that matter. I am use to really singers not this manufacture pop tarts ( sorry rhianna & beyonce stans not fans stans). This is what music doesn’t sell any more and this is why Susan Boyle is running the charts now. People are looking for real music not this gimmick stuff the industry is putting out there now. The industry stop caring about music and looking at the dollar. Now back in the day albums was selling like crazy now days artist better hope that there album goes gold. But I would say this is a good improvement from the other performance that I have seen from her.

If you want to hear REAL music nowadays, the best place to look is for underground artists…they have nothing to lose, so they put their hearts into it, and take their time. That’s where the real music has been hiding. IMO.

This was really boring. No wow factor, she didn’t take the song to another place. Just mundane and she played it too safe. As far as Rihanna being better, I don’t think so. Rihanna constantly places it safe in every performance I’ve seen. And as much as I love Ms Keri it seems like she’s just a recording artist and not a vocalist as is Rihanna.

It was a good, solid performance.. IDK if she has range because she doesn’t need to to sing that song, its a really simple song to sing like most of the pop songs on the radio now which is what they want, they want you to be able to sing along with them easily. Anyone who says it was flat is not correct, she was exactly were she needed to be for that song. One of her better performances, she has steadily improved each performance over the last 2 months that I have seen ( because there were times i’ve cringed during some of her performances). Good job Keri
