New Song: Christina Milian – ‘Welcome To Vegas’

Yet another track from Christina Milian’s recent studio sessions has emerged. ‘Welcome To Vegas’ was produced by Tricky Stewart and written by her husband, The-Dream. ‘Elope’ is still awaiting a release date.

This is the best track come forth from Milian in a long time. Despite the song sounding very similar to The-Dream’s personal material, it is different from her previously released music, including yesterday’s ‘I’m Sexy’. However, I am still waiting to hear Milian apply this experimentation to her vocals. Thus far, she has been using a lot of restraint and not pushing her voice. Hopefully, there are ballads on the album that show growth in her voice as well.

    @Grego,

    I like the flow on this song, but I def. Agree with what you said, about Ciara too, b/c she may not be the best singer, but if you want all that, listen to someone who gives “that”..lol..Ciara has great potential, and always puts out hits. Im not sure about this last album, but I always support. Don’t wanna see anyone fail.

    I don’t understand why people keep sayin she needs to come harder. This is how she’s comin this round. Everyone is expecting another Umbrella or Single Ladies but then trash the songs when they come out. Lets b real people. C. Milli did ‘come hard’ wit this one. Its smooth, captivating and completely diff from what other females are bringing. I think this and Zipper are the hardest songs I’ve heard so far. She is def evolving. This fits well to her voice and reminds me of somethin Aaliyah would have done. Love it!

    I don’t care what people say, she’s amazing in my eyes. In all honesty, I think the leaks from her album were the best pieces of music I’d heard in 09. Including Us Against The World of course. This is an amazing track, the Chorus melody is unique and melodic, I love it.
    I mean Chameleon was KILLER. And she has got serious talent as a singer AND a writer, for great vocals check out Believer, amazing. I hope she’s happy, but I really want her to come back soon, coz I think in the right time and situation she could blow up.
