The video for Cheryl Cole‘s latest single ‘Parachute’ premiered a few moments ago. While the clip is rather artistic and well-done, I find it a little hard to get past the fact that such a limited talent is being afforded such grand treatment. I mean, the song is average at best and Ms. Cole’s vocal capabilities are minimal at best.
Still, folk seem to be lapping it up; the Girls Aloud singer’s debut solo LP ‘3 Words’ has been certified Platinum here in the UK, with a re-release already being prepped – which will feature production from hit-maker Ryan Tedder. SMH…

Double platinum, Sam. Cheryl has sold 650k copies of her album. She wouldn’t be the first or the last to get by on minmal talent. She can dance at least,.. and perform and is gorgeous.

Wow! I had no idea who this chick was til I just watched that video but DAMN that’s a beautifully done video! Can’t even hate on her! Hope she gets a release in the US soon.
And Sam, let’s be real, you love the haterade so keep on sipping it. Give the girl props on coming with an awesome video, if it was trash you would’ve been rubbing her face in it but even when it’s good you still manage to find fault! This one obviously wasn’t “recession friendly” as you like to say so enjoy it!

She pretty much makes Britney sound like a Diva and the only reason she’s done well is with all of this “National treasure” bs after being on X Factor.
