As Christina Aguilera’s promotional campaign pushes ahead, a snippet of the vocal powerhouse’s new song has surfaced. The track, ‘Not Myself Tonight’, was written and produced by Polow Da Don and Ester Dean, and will be released in its entirety on March 30th. Aguilera’s new album, ‘Bionic’, drops on June 8th. For a second it sounded like this was a Britney Spears song instead of something Aguilera would put forward. The beat and swift lyrics are strangely reminiscent of some of the material on Spears’ ‘Blackout’ album. However, that is in no way a problem as that LP was one of the best records released in the last decade. Let’s see if the full version of ‘Not Myself Tonight’ lives up to the hype. March 30th here we come.
