For those of you who knows nothing about the music world let me break it down to you.
It cost money to put out an album, lots of money. When artist put out an album they usually go in to debt owing money to the record company. This is why Janet Jackson said she will only do singles for now on, because she did not want to tour to pay off an album.
Chris Brown is smart, he can put out singles and they may go gold or even platinum and that will be money in his pocket. What Chris Brown is doing is putting money in his pocket, children. The idea is to make money not to owe money out. Artist go in to debt with albums and have to go on long winded tours to pay the money back.
Chris Brown will go on tour this summer, he will make money but he also will share some of that money with Haiti and some of his favorite charities. Chris Brown has Haiti on his mind right now and it has taken the place of a woman.

Deuces is on constant replay, Definitely recognizing the growth and transition in his music. I don’t think he will be going away for a very long time.

Mix tapes and doing singles are a wonderful thing for his career, his is putting money in his pocket. Singles can go gold and even platinum unlike albums you don’t have go on long assaulting tours.
Chris Brown is young he just turn 21, he has a long ways to go some artist career don’t begin until after 25 and some who start early careers pecks at 25. Chris Brown has along time to peck and he will have a long career because he is talented.

Mixtapes are usually good for an Artist, but I think it kind of sends the wrong message. It’s clear he’s still trying to do music and keep his name in the press between albums. But, in his situation (unlike Trey Songz) he’s been black-balled. So, it makes it seem like he’s taking a step back in his career. Like he’s doing mixtapes because the radio stations won’t play his music (which may be true!)
It’s my personal opinion that he should stay quiet and work on a new, stellar album. The fans he lost don’t seem to pay attention to these mixtapes, especially where he’s ‘rapping’ with some other young kid.
I think Graffiti was a great Album [Sing Like me, Movies, Crawl, Falling Down]. But these mixtapes…not so much…..

I never really paid attention to mixtapes until CB did IN MY ZONE. The funny thing to me is that I think a lot of peoples mixtapes are better than most of what I hear on the radio. It funny how people want to diss Chris for doing mixtapes when Drake has put out nothing but mixtapes and he is the hottest (to some) rapper out right now. There is nothing wrong with putting out music through mixtapes! Especially if they are hot!
Though, It disappoints me that a lot of the music he is putting out on his mixtape is better than most of what is on the radio but is not getting played, I am glad that he stays on his grind and keeps putting out music for his fans. To me it proves that he really cares about his fans cause he is giving us album quality music for free!
I loved IN MY ZONE, in my opinion it was album quality! I think he is doing a video to ‘No Bull S***’. I am really anticipating FAN OF A FAN now. I’ll admit that I wasn’t too impressed with ‘Holla At Me’ but ‘G S***’ is my jam, and then ‘Deuces’, so I am excited about it now!
I love Chris and I respect him as an artist so much! As long as he keeps making music I will be there for him.

The sound and the words are so damm clear. I had to take the subway today and I also had it on repeat. I’m not from VA but i’ll be staying with my nephew in VA this weekend for the Haiti/VA benefit. I have my tickets so I will be there Saturday.
