It looks like The-Dream has come to regret his previous statements to Palour magazine regarding Ciara. The songwriter, who crafted Ciara’s R&B hit ‘Ride’, took some jabs at That Grape Juice in a recent interview with Power 106FM and stated that he was merely trying to encourage his “sister” to do prove herself was not being negative. Peep what he had to say below:
Clearly Mr. Nash did not pay particular attention to what was said in our previous post. That Grape Juice merely commented on the quote that was taken from directly from his interview and gave our opinion on those comments. Yes he may have been trying to encourage Ciara to do her best but, as many of her now rampaging fans have been stating, such comments regarding her project might not help her current position on the Billboard charts.
Maybe Mr. Nash has come to regret his statements and after succumbing to the pressure exerted on him by the Ciara fans on Twitter, he is simply trying to portray himself in a more positive light. If he didn’t want the blogs to comment on his statements then maybe he should have spent more time writing songs and less time talking.
Sidebar: It’s funny how artists are so quick to boast about the negativity portrayed by the blogs yet they seem to forget that they need us as much as we need them. Then again, last time I checked, Mr. Nash has neither a platinum album or a #1 record i.e. he’s not that famous.
