Janet Jackson has found herself in the middle of yet another controversy. PETA has lashed out against the icon for her endorsement of the furs in her new Blackglama campaign stating that this was an act of desperation by Jackson to stay relevant. Check out what PETA had to say below:

Surely she knows enough about suffering and unjustified death to recognize that both occur in the production of a fur coat. PETA ( people eating the animals) You need to go back in history and see who the real killers were of animals. When the Native Americans tried to stop you people from slaughtering the Buffalos for sport, you thought it was fun. The Native Americans used the buffalos for fur,meat to survive,but you did’nt want them to survive. The Eskimos use whale blubber for various reasons, many countries have a purpose for using animals. You are the ones that have caused extintions of some of the animals,now you want to say it’s wronk to mistreat animals. It’s more positive things going on in the world today and you need to focus on that. Mankind can’t get along with each other and you expect me to be concerned about animals. First of all i don’t consider a dog a mans best friend. Now when he can talk to me and help me solve my problems, or go to work when i do, or get a social security number, go to the store, so many things that a dog can’t do. I was told by a fireman,that if your house is on fire and you have a dog inside don’t go back inside, because 9 times out of ten the dog will be outside looking for you. So who’s the dumb one? Stop trying to be the savior of the animal kingdom, because your views are not shared by everyone. Think of your past and what you did.
