Legendary songbird Mariah Carey took a tumble while performing in Singapore this morning. While belting out her classic tune ‘Make It Happen‘ the diva slipped and fell in one of her signature high heels. However, Carey quickly summoned her helpers to remove the shoes and continued to sing like a true diva. Check out the footage below:
That’s how a really diva handles business! Even while being tending to Carey kept singing live and laughing with the crowd, showing little sign of embarrassment. Hopefully, if she is pregnant, she doesn’t encounter any problems with the baby. Diva.

can’t respect Mariah’s live singing, this is sad. She is lipping in just above every song from Dreamlover to the whistles in Emotions to Hero. It’s just sad that she can’t just stand flatfooted and sing.
Hero was just bad. If I were a concert goer I would want my money back, homegirl sat for just about every song, out of breath, cut short notes, just not good. Brazil was better.
Don’t give the excuse that she is pregnant. If she is, she is not 7mths or more where the baby may have some affects on breathing. She is out of shape and should not take people’s money to give a bad concert like that.

Say what you will about Ms. HOuston, she has my respect because she keeps it 100 all the time. She doesn’t deceive her fans by lipping. Mariah did so much lipping in this concert it was a major fail.
Whitney is 7 years older than Mariah and she freaking dances to routines and moves around. mariah moves like slow motion, sitting on the couch, talking her way through a concert.
On Whitney’s worse vocal day, she gives her best, energy wise and she makes up for it with interpretation. don’t give me that Mariah is pregnant. Pregnancy is not an illness. Whitney was put in the hospital for upper respiratory infection and she was put on steroids for the remainder of the tour dealing with breathing issues.
There is never an excuse for all that lipping that Mariah did. Let’s not talk about the cutting notes short and singing 1/4 of the song. Sad, sad, sad

If you watched each of those videos and you couldn’t pick up the obvious lipping then not only are you tune deaf, you are delusional.
Go to UK Mix, many of her own fans who are passionate music lovers did not like the concert and bitching about why she continues to lip.
I am not a Mariah fan but I can appreciate some of her songs but I have an ear and I can tell you in just about all of those songs, she’s lipping- Emotions, Dreamlover, Hero etc
This is not a Whitney against Mariah post. I can give an opinion. REgarding Whitney, there is a double standard for her. She attracts for some reason why more media attention than even Mariah. I can tell you that in several of those cases, themedia whiipped up the story or changed some of the facts.
Is that to say on some dates she didn’t sound great, no, I admit,s ome dates were not good but on many dates, she did fine and MORE IMPORTANTLY she didn’t lip!
The one song that she sung over the track, For the Lovers, she danced her a** off.
But back to Mariah, like I said in the other thread, I can give her a pass for the breathlessness, the lazy stage presence and the cut notes but not the incessant lipping.
