I must admit that I was hoping for a slow dance routine similar to ‘Promise’ for the video. However, this was a sexy video nonetheless. Let’s see if BET would find another silly reason to reject this video like they did ‘Ride’.

really like the song. the video is nice in its simplicity. I have been one to say that Cici could be just as big as Janet if steered properly but i saw a little too much Janet in this. Either way, i hope it gets her the boost she needs to sell her album. And interesting that she’s taking the slower ballad route when everyone is going european. We’ll see, these days the music industry is so fickle, and it’s consumers, even more so. I’ll buy the damn album simply because i have all of her others and i am a fan!

Actually I thought it was an above average video. Everyone is trying to do as much as they can within the space of 4 minutes, that it was nice to see her slow things down and emphasize the meaning behind the song. She’s a pretty girl, and has come a long way since her “Goodies” days, when it seemed like she was too shy to look the camera in the eye without her hair in the way. I wish her well.

The songs ok. Not music I can drive to but it definately lounging at home and relaxing music. This video not her best (I agree with some people who say Promise was her best video so far)but I still like it.
Well..I like the song. It’s decent….I like the verses..but her vocals on the chorus aren’t too stellar, WHen she goes in to that’…speechless…’ ,that’s where the song ususlly falls apart for me. The Dream can write some hot records, but if the artist vocals aren’t on point then the record doesn’t shine, That’s how I feel about this song.
“Ride’ grew on me but it fell quickly and is continuing to fall off the charts.I knew it wasn’t going to be too much of a hit for her because it was too slow and that’s how I feel about this one..it’s too slow. She needs a real up tempo club banger and this ain’t it.
I think ‘Ride’ did so well mostly because of the video, it was hot! When I heard she was working with Colin Tilley for this video I was so excited, but it was kinda boring and I don’t think it is going to help the song much. *shrugs*

There is no way in hell that she will ever be able to attain the same level of success that she did with her goodies album (and it isn’t like this albums sales broke records or anything). Heck she’ll even be lucky to sell more than Fantasy Ride, which had far superior singles than what I am hearing now.
