This is a fun and colourful video. The upbeat production on the track was well-crafted and managed not to be overpowered by the magnitude of Rihanna’s repulsive attempts at singing.
I suspect that this record has been released in an attempt to get listeners accustomed to the Dance-oriented sound of her new album, ‘Loud’. Now if only they could find a way to get us acclimatised to the sound of her diaper-worthy vocal performances.

I can really respect your opinion, because surprisingly it’s the same way I feel about Gaga. I loved her when she first came out, not to say I don’t like her now, but definitely not as much. That’s the main reason I’m hoping her next album is something different from what she’s doing now. I’m not gonna say she’s not swagger jacking any of those people, but I don’t think ‘original and innovative’ is what she promotes, or at least not what I interpret it as. In all actuality, I don’t think anyone can be original these days. Almost everything has been done already, so it’s inevitable that someone will refer to an artist as a ‘swagger jacker.’ However, I do think Gaga is one of a few that takes her style/image to another level which results in her being referred to as a that.

Today I have a question for the (straight) fellas who visit this site… all 3 of them…
Let’s say you meet the perfect girl, you love her more than the $1 Menu at McDonalds. She gives you 80%, But sometimes she’s too clingy. She follows you everywhere. She can’t cook, she can’t clean, she can’t do laundry, she has no marketable skills, no real ambition. She just looks nice, spends all your money, drives all the gas out your car and eats all your damn Hot Pockets! She’s nice for the moment but you can’t imagine what kind of a future she has.
Beyonce was as close to perfect as we could get. She was the girl we thought we’d spend the rest of our lives with. But she hung around too much. Got too comfortable. Called all the damn time. Then texted. Then called asking why you didn’t text her back, then texted asking why you didn’t call her back. She was everywhere you were. She didn’t give you a chance to miss her. 1. SHE’S NOT THE WORST – Granted, she’s not the best vocalist but (for better or worse) you can’t deny that she sounds exactly like or very similar to the goat sound on her records. Beyonce is just the most called out because her haters love her life. Like who waste time making ten minute videos about how beyonce is a copycat because she wore the same wardrobe as somebody. And most of the people that these haters say beyonce copied from didn’t create not a god damn thing.
A lot of people devote a lot of time into finding fault in Beyonce. But there are things that other stars have gotten away with that Beyonce could NEVER get away with. If you look at Beyonce in comparison to most other celebrities she’s a pretty good role model. Let’s look at the evidence:
– No leaked s** tapes.
– She’s never hit anybody with her car.
– She’s never shaved her head (not that there’s anything wrong with that but Tina would elbow her in the mouth if she even thought of doing that)
– No trips to rehab
– No embarrassing reality shows
– She has never pissed on underaged kids
– She doesn’t f*** for tracks
-She never had naked pictures leaked
In the spirit of that today we’re going to play a game called “THINGS BEYONCE COULD NEVER GET AWAY WITH”. I’ll name things that other superstars have done that you would never, ever, ever, ever let Beyonce get away with.
Let’s begin:
WHO AM I?
Alicia Keys is a MASSIVELY TALENTED multi-platinum superstar. Sis undeniably talented but at times she is pitchy and down right off-key during live performances but you let her get away with it because she play the piano. She broke up a marriage between a producer and his wife but that news didn’t get very far because she’s not Beyonce, but had it been Beyonce it would have been headline news on CNN and y’all would have hanged me live on 106 and Park.
Prince don’t allow ANYONE to use his photos, videos, songs, or image in any way. He has sued and shut down his own fan message boards to stop them from posting videos, songs, or photos of his without permission. If that was Beyonce and she did this y’all would torch the wig crypt to the ground but he can get away with this because he is not Beyonce (although they do wear the same size high heels).
Diana Ross got 5 kids with 3 different fathers. Despite the fact that she was not the best singer and arguably not even the best looking member of her singing group she became the lead singer, (maybe because she slept with the head of her record label). Years later, while on stage with her group mates she pushed one of them to the back of the stage because she shented to be the one in the front. If Beyonce had done this to Kelly you would beat her with a House of Dereon lizard skin belt with rhinestones but she can get away with this because she not Beyonce.
Aretha has feuded with Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Luther Vandross, her own sister, and even Beyonce. She wrote a book about those feuds years ago. She didn’t go into detail about what started these feuds but she did write in great detail about who makes the best hot dogs and catfish sandwiches in Harlem. If Beyonce were this mean to her peers she would never work in the industry but Aretha can get away with this because she is the queen of soul food.
Rihanna album didn’t debut at #1 but that’s ok because she not Beyonce. Beyonce’s album has to debut at #1 with at least 900,000 sold or she’s a flop. Kelly Rowland released 3 singles none of which were big hits, but that’s ok because she not Beyonce. All of Beyonce’s singles have to go to #1 for 10 weeks otherwise she’s a flop. Ciara is not quite big enough to headline her own tours, but that’s ok because she ain’t no Beyonce. All of Beyonce’s shows have to completely sell out. If there are 10,000 tickets on sale and she sells 9,998 she’s a flop because it’s not completely sold out. Keri Hilson’s career is kinda mediocre right now but it’s ok because she is not Beyonce and you would NEVER let her get away with this.

Say what you want about Bionic flopping, but I’m willing to bet anything that her career will outlast Riyodel’s. And I wouldn’t say Bey snatched Christina’s wig. Her first album came out in 1999, Rihannas first album came out in 2005.
Comparing the sales of someone who’s been around for a decade [10 years] to someone who’s been around in half the time isn’t logical. However, the fact that Rihannas last 2 releases have done better than the person with an established presence in the industry only proves how irrelevant she has [Christina] become.
I brought up Britney because Christina came out the year after her, therefore they’re on even grounds. Yes, obviously Christina is the better singer, not because Rolling Stone says so, because it’s obvious. But as we’ve seen screaming will only get you so far. Britney has sold more than 100million records and a decade later, after all these new chicks popped up, is STILL relevant. Christina came back with Bionic and on top of it flopping in sales & reviews, she was accused of ripping of Lady Gaga 😆
Britney’s done live performances with Madonna, Michael, Aerosmith, and received the stamp of approval from the former two -incidentally, The King & Queen-

True, a Greatest Hits doesn’t count as an actual album however that didn’t stop Britney’s Greatest Hits from selling 5miliion worldwide, being certified Platinum and landing on the year end chart 2 years in a row. Considering Britney has been around for about a decade and has outsold & outlasted most all of her peers I don’t know which half of what decade you’re referring to. Madonna isn’t the best singer either and at 50 she’s still wearing the skimpy stage outfits. Britney will be fine hun don’t worry.

The girl with voice was being compared to a newcomer by the name of Lady Gaga and soon after became irrelevant.

Then came SOS , then came Umbrella, then came Disturbia,, then came Rude Boy, now comes Only Girl. Doesn’t it get tiring constantly having to wipe the egg of your faces? I imagine you people are probably at home praying to the gods for her to fail everytime she releases something lol.

Back To Basics was released once, had 3 singles, and a tour that was cut short due to Christina’s pregnancy. It actually did pretty damn well considering those things.

Try hoping that your girl can sell 5 million copies of an album without re-releasing and putting out single after single after single like she usually does.
