I don’t care for this new Ne-Yo project. It seems as thoguh he is trying entirely to hard to channel his inner Michael Jackson this go round. I miss the authentic Ne-Yo from “In My Own Words” and “Because Of You.” Come back to us Ne-Yo or stick to writing female male-bashing songs that reveal your inner homosexual yearnings.

I have ambivalent feelings over whether I should get “Libra Scale” or not. I’m a Ne-Yo fan, but I’m not really into his new music. “Beautiful Monster” and “Champange Life” was decent and “One In A Million” is kinda “eh..”. I wish he would go back to his old music. The whole music video saga thing is kinda boring too.

If you are gonna only put 10 songs on an album, if 8 of them aren’t stellar, it isn’t a masterpiece. This isn’t the 80s, and we also don’t have artists like we did in the 80s either who could write and construct well produced songs. 12 is always a safe number for this generation, and should be the standard. These artists wanna emulate classic albums, but many of them underperform. So far, “Champagne Life” is ok. “Beautiful Monster” is a beautiful disaster, and “One In A Million” is the only one worth listening to. I will definitely have to sample this one before dropping my cash.
And this is coming from a Neyo fan. His last album was great, 12 really good songs.
go back to r&b, neyo. this dance/pop crap doesn’t suit you.

Ne-yo is one of the best to me….It really suxx because the cd is on multiple sites to download…that may mess sales up big time…the cd is really good..i downloaded it but i will be buyin it once it comes out…ima fan
10 freaking songs and 3 of them have been released already?! Musicians are just becoming too damn lazy. I hope this album comes with a 10 track price tag.

Well AMAR, I just listened to his album & all of them with the exception of One in a Million were sh*t. This is not a great musical year for Ne-yo.

I don’t understand.. I live in The Netherlands and the whole Libra Scale (w the same tracklist) leaked like a week ago. I dunno, but the only worthy songs on the album are Beautiful Monster, Crazy Love and Cause I Said So.. So if you (Trent/Sam) want it, where should I send it to?
I’m glad he included ‘Crazy Love’. That’s a great smooth, cool track.
