Chat-show queen Oprah Winfrey really appears to be pulling out all the stops for the last season of her show. For, the 56 year old billionaire’s latest guests are the family of the late, great Michael Jackson.
In the episode, which is set to air on November 8th, Winfrey visits the Encino, California home of Jackson’s parent’s Katherine and Joseph, meeting and speaking with the King of Pop’s children Prince, Paris, and Blanket while there.
Prior to the show’s airing, Winfrey’s exclusive chat with Pop star Ricky Martin (his first since ‘coming out’) is screened tonight in the US.

When considering Oprah’s negative sentiments towards MJ in his later life, her apparent fixation with his family now (as seen by her chats with Janet this year, the re-run of her initial interview with MJ, and now this) raise serious questions about her intentions. It all somewhat unnerves me. Still, like many, yours truly will be tuning in; hence will hold my words until then.

Beyonced, I don’t take kindly to that wicked witch of the north comment, as I am from Chicago and Chicago has nothing to do with Oprah’s intentions. On the other hand, she has been quite consistent with the Jacksons as of late, and I don’t think MJ would be happy knowing his kids will be put on public display again. She seemed like she was beating questions out of Lisa Marie in that interview a couple of weeks ago, though Lisa didn’t make a big deal about it, Oprah needs to learn how to stay outta some business. I rather wait until these kids get a little up in age like 18, so they can digest this a little more and give us a good story when they more comfortable. I know they have much to say, but I can wait.
Maybe she is feelin sme guilt about wht she has said and done and is trying to make up for it? or maybe she is exploiting his children & family for ratings? We may never know

I must say that Oprah is so quick to be judged for her motives. I’m sure some of this is done in the name of scoring high ratings. Still, I think Oprah provided a safe place for the Jacksons to be heard, respectfully – without any manipulation of their words or condescending and offensive questions that seem to convict them of things that their not found guilty of. If I was a celebrity and I wanted to make a statement and put something negative to rest I’d choose Oprah to divulge any of my personal issues to.
I don’t hold anythng against her, for being suspicious of MJ. Nobody knew really what to think at that time(when he was being brought up on charges for child molestation). I don’t think she was seeking out to incriminate him. I think her concern for those children were genuine. I’d bank on it today that she believes in MJ’s innocence and perhaps she’s participating more actively in trying to have people firmly understand just how normal MJ was. In recent times, I’ve learned more about him than I ever have. I didn’t follow him, because I wasn’t a fan – but at the same time his mysterious nature sort of made it difficult. I think Oprah is more trustworthy, than Barbara Walters or Diane Sawyer. I prefer we hear her covering these stories, because I don’t believe theree will be any bias.
Oprah has interviewed Janet before on numerous occasions. She didn’t just start because Michael. Also, Jackie Jackson will be on Oprah this Thursday because he was her t*** idol.

As much as I love Oprah…this has bothered me a little as well. I don’t really remember her bashing MJ (cuz I didn’t see those shows when she did), I do find it odd that she has put so much focus in him over the past year. To me, it almost seems like she’s tryin to dig for more information to prove her negative feelings. I mean, Janet told her that the family tried to help him numerous times, Lisa Marie said the same thing, and so did Tyler Perry (when he was on with Janet). The man was found not guilty of child molestation and no one can prove it. Who else needs to confirm these things before she lets go of those questions? DAMN
I think she wants to make amends to MJ and his family before her show ends.

I don’t like this at all, i don’t know about her bashing MJ because i live in the UK and don’t watch her show but i do know that MJ did everything he could to keep his children out of the spotlight and now that he’s gone his mother (who i’m sure has good intentions) is being manipulated by people (E.G Joe & Oprah) into having them put in front of the media time and again.
They have so much money that there is no need, just let these kids grow up as normally as possible (like their father wanted) and once they are adults if they wanna talk about their father and their life it will be their decision…
Knowing how she tried to play MJ in the past, I feel some kind of way about her interviewing the kids. We all know how Michael wanted to keep his children shielded from the media as much as possible, so I’m sure he would NOT approve of this. But at the same time, if they are gonna have the kids do an interview, she would be a good chice b/c I’m sure she’d be fair with the kids.
But I do have to side-eye the fact that the interviews w/ the Jacksons are being aired in between episodes that deal with men being molested as children…it seems like it was intentional and that ish ain’t cool.
