Rising star Jessie J is creating quite the buzz on both sides of the Atlantic. While her European single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ looks set to be a chart smash, the Essex-bred singer/songwriter has headed back to her base in the States to begin promotion for her US debut ‘Price Tag’.
The song, which she performed acoustically on BETA TV (below), is to feature rapper B.O.B on its single incarnation; the video for which was shot recently in Los Angeles.

She’s got a great voice and great ear, haven’t heard her drop a note once yet. I would love to see someone like her make it big, she has style of singing that isn’t really in mainstream music right now. We need a bit more variety ( at least in the US), I’m just ready for real singers to really make a reemergence on the pop scene, all the past ones (Bey, Xtina, etc) and some new ones.
