@ Nicki … I am thinking logically the clips I’ve seen of her performing in concert were terrible. Besides falling and barely being able to move and show stage presence – she was a mess vocally (I think it was a clip of Firebomb). Anyway, it’s one thing to embarrass yourself in front of your fans, but it’s far worst to do it on live television for 9minutes for all the world to see.
It sure won’t help Loud get to number one on the charts and it sure won’t get out of the 180-190k range. The album will quickly fall off the charts and be more forgettable than RR… Guess I’ll miss the first 9 minutes of the show. Id rather P!nk do a 9 minute set. At least she can sing and perform.

They also have television commercials on cable for her new album.
I have yet to see any artist promoted as well as this. Not even MJ thriller got this type of promotion. Who ever is her publicist or promotional team they are working over time, because rihanna is out there in a very big way.

So stay tuned and when that #1 album pops up you’ll be one of the first to know. And We don’t know about whether all the music icons have two or three #1 it depends on who you call an icon. That would take a lot of time to research to find that information out, and unless I am getting a grade or getting paid, I am not willing to go through archives of information to find that out for you guys. First week don’t mean s***. She still sells millions over time. So would you have rather she sell 500k first week then go on to do just platinum over all. Or would you rather she start of with a certain amount and continue to build sales wise. Which is what she has always done. Also she may not sell a whole lot first week, but each of her albums have been seeing an increase in first week sales , which shows consistency. At least she is increasing in sales and not decreasing in her first week and over all selling capability. Exactly! If I were to focus on sales, Janelle Monae wouldn’t be one of my favorite artists of this generation and she’s one of the most talented. Adele wouldn’t be on my list either. I like Rihanna…somewhat, her songs are excellently produced, but I need more than that. I want an artist that will take the studio recording to new heights.
