Video: Fantasia Rocks Baltimore

Published: Monday 8th Nov 2010 by Sam

R&B force Fantasia has seen her ‘Back to Me Tour’ open to rave reviews in the US this week. The 30-city Stateside trek rolled into Baltimore’s Meyerhoff Symphony Hall yesterday, for what was said to be a rousing show.

Peep Ms. Barrino’s spine-tingling rendition of the Color Purple’s ‘I’m Here’ after the jump…

Christmas tree dress aside, that was an absolutely stunning showing! Running on pure passion, emotion, and raw talent, Fantasia delivered and then some. Amazing.

The industry at large really needs to treasure her, as they simply can’t “make” artists such as Fantasia. For she’s both blessed (with a special gift) and a blessing (in what she brings to an often mundane industry). More power to her.

AMAZING!!!! I cant wait to see her live!!! None of todays “singers” can do it like Fantasia!

  3. Tendaji November 8, 2010

Dang…she went all the way in…

See this is why I love R&B and soul singer (who can actually sing).

In particular, Fantasia has a crazy ability to make you feel what she’s feeling through song. And still sound good. There are some artist who have powerful voices, but what I’ve found is that they lack that ability. Example, J.Hud…Beautiful voice, there just seems to be a lack of ability to emote through the song. But that woman can sing her b*** off. Big ups to fantasia. just made me go buy a ticket to see the show!!

I went to the show in Philly on Saturday and my baby tore it up! Eric Benet and Kandi did a good job too! But I was singing and on my feet with every song she did! People who call themselves performers needs to take notes! Fantasia is actually one of the performers who sound great on her cds and even better live! That’s why I adore her and I brought 3 copies of the cd! I LOVE YOU FANTASIA!

I was in the audience for this show. Fantasia rocked the stage. She is such an amazing performer. I think people sleep on and disregad her but she is a powerhouse live. The compassion and rawness she delivers each song with is breathtaking. Everyone, go and see this show it is worth every single penny. I have seen Fantasia live many times and I must say that this show impressed me. Go…you’ll love it.
