Kelly Rowland is cooking up new music with two of R&B’s most towering titans, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox.

Ms. Kelly has been open about working on her long-awaited new album and stressed that she feels more inspired than ever following her stint as a special guest on Brandy and Monica’s ‘The Boy is Mine Tour.’
Now, she’s locked in time in the lab with JD and B. Cox – two hitmakers she has a storied history with.
Durpi has helmed songs for Destiny’s Child, while Cox co-created classics such as ‘Bad Habit’ with Rowland.
The production maestros, who often work together, have also helmed recent R&B hits for the likes of Ari Lennox (‘Pressure’, ‘Soft Girl Era’) and

Such a smart move. Beyonce and Matthew intentionally kept Kelly from making certain music so as to not compete with Demonce. She allowed it though. Still, I love this for her. 💯 the Knowles rescued Kelly unaware she’d blossom into a better tone, body, and ear for music than their prodigal Diana Ross to be. Probably gaslit her into thinking she’s family and families do what’s best for one another, so as she wouldn’t eclipse the two evil sisters.

Kelly worked with the duo for her serially delayed album Here I Am, she did record songs (they leaked). She also released the EP K a few years ago
The US fans want R&B Kelly but they don’t support it…her European fans support her dance/pop records where some of her biggest are. Kelly could have keep the R&B dance route like Here I Am and continued to go the Kelis route making the money overseas. But I guess she gets one hit record per album is still a flex lol I love Kelly but as an artist she’s exhausting.
