The X-Factor 2010 saw its seventh set of eliminations tonight. Find out who’s heading home this week…
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 25’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s seventh season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. It’s US version is set to launch in 2011}.
After registering the lowest public vote of the contestants, Cher and Paije were two acts put on the chopping block.
The weekly sing-off proceeded with Paije taking to the stage first singing Jamelia’s ‘Stop’, with Cher following with a rendition of ‘Stay’.
In the end, it was Cher who was granted a pass onto next week’s show following the judges – ultimately sending Paije home.
The X Factor continues on ITV1 next Saturday.

Sadly Paije had to go but it was the correct decision in the end. No matter how many times TXF lie and say that they anyone can enter, they are mainly looking for a popstar. And Paije just isn’t a popstar or commercial enough.. Shame as I would to have heard more from Paije.
Neither Cher or paije deserved the bottom 2.
Paije was going to leave eventually so it’s not big of news. The top 3 is going to be Matt, Rebecca, and One Direction.

So last week sunday Michelle Williams was voted off Strictly Come Dancing in Britain, after being in the bottom two for the fourth time, then on Tuesday in America Brandy was voted off Dancing with the stars second time being in the bottom two.
Now today Sunday on the X Factor in Britain, Paije Richardson was voted off and his never been in the bottom 2 before unlike Katie, who’s been in the bottom four times but still managed to survive another week.
Strange in a matter of a week, three black people have been voted off these reality shows, both over here and in America, hmm I wonder if Linford Christie will be the first to be voted off I’m A Celebrity? I guess we have to wait and see. Just thought I point that out to everyone.
This show is full of confused messages. Both Mary and Wagner shouldn’t have been accepted in the first place as neither are pop star potential. Aiden should have had another 2 weeks. Paije didn’t have a typical voice for the pop charts but he had potential if given the right songs, but with boring old themes he didn’t have a chance. On a positive note it gave him confidence and a start. He should continue as he was born to sing and with the right management team a person with a naturally great voice has potential. He looked like such a nice person and had a great attitude. Good for him.
All the judges (louie included) look shocked when wagner goes through yet they seem to forget that they are the ones who ultimately put him through. At the end of the day we all know that the show is a fix and thats why wagner remains. Ask anybody and noone likes him. Its about time the shows producers went public and admitted that they pick the winner before it gets to the live stages
I think this years XFACTOR appears to be a farce and perhaps being fixed. There have been so many good singers go out of the competition so far and Wagner is still there its a damn singing competition not a comedy show.
Katie I felt from the start should not have been allowed to enter the competition as she had already signed a music contract in America so it puts her to an advantage straight away and does not give others a fair chance.
Louie seems to be making comments which i Feel are unjust in many ways. I think he needs to look closer to home at his own acts neither of them especially Wagner are not recording artists.

X Factor is offically a waste of time, how can you have an awful act like Wagner in it let alone still in it. I will not be subjecting my eyes or ears to him again.
first jedwood now wagner the show is becoming a joke this should be louis last time as a judge, how on earth he ever worked with groups such as boyzone and westlife he could`nt spot talent if it slapped him in the face , won`t be watching next year if he is still there
Katie is a true perfomer, she has the voice and is unique. She just needs to belive in herself and needs to be given a break. Those voting should remember that this competition has the power to change lives and votes should be given on the quality of singing and ability to become a recording star and performing artist. My vote is with Katie because I belive she has the quality to perform both visually and vocally with feelings for the words of the song.
I think Matt, Cheryil and Rebecca are also excellent but Ktie’s voice and performance has the edge.
