I don’t see Rihanna having so few little dates, therefore, they may announce more dates soon after. Perhaps they would like to see how tickets sale first.

I have to disagree, but that’s just my opinion. I like her but her excitement and joy when performing was more present when she just came out and during her GGGB era. now it seems like she’s relying more on the production and her sexuality.
her redemption song performance from 05 (the emotion were real) and her vogue performance at fashion rocks (the dancing was good) were her best and still they weren’t great. And i’ve seen her on her GGGB tour. she did very good, but i haven’t seen her do better yet.

I totally agree. I don’t see much talent with Madonna. She’s a great stage performer, but there isn’t much to her otherwise. In her heyday, she was kind of like the less talented version of Gaga: it was the shock factor that kept her career alive, aside from the music.
As for Rihanna, I’m not certain what it is, but I think she’s just nervous to show what she can do. Maybe she thinks since people criticize her normal singing voice, that they’ll go insane with insults over her real singing? I’m not sure…

Yeah, I think that a lot of times people feel more safe not giving their all. Like, “I don’t care if they make fun of this me, because it’s not the real me”. She doesn’t want to give people her all when they clearly won’t appreciate it. I think she should do something like the Disturbia performance for the Grammy’s. Usually people use them to show off vocals, they do ballads instead of pop, party records.
There’s nothing special about Madonna’s talent and I’m leaving it at that because I don’t want to go off on this woman.
About B’Day, it’s hard to explain. If I had heard IASF before B’day & it wasn’t a Beyonce album I’d probably not like it at all. I loved the rerelease though, it’s just the standard was boring and had no substance. The re-release was amazing though

LOL, good list! I definitely agree about “Radio”, though. That is one of my favorite Beyonce songs ever. I don’t know WHY that wasn’t a single. I do! For some reason, it just works for me – from the instruments, to the vocals, to the arrangement – it’s just perfect. Good point with “Crazy In Love”. The song is probably my lowest on the top 10 list…it’s a good song, but not as great as some people say it is. I love her live performances of it, though.

LOL, everyone seems to be surprised when I tell them I like “Creole”. Not even on this site, but period. Most people think it’s a good song, but not THAT good. Anyways, I think “Sweet Dreams” is amazing, but it’s true that that was a bit of an overly pop song.
Whenever I’m sad, “Disappear” and “Save the Hero” are my go-to songs. Both of those usually express my feelings so well. They’re just amazing, and one of my favorite parts about those songs is that she doesn’t over-sing them. I love when Beyonce goes all out with her vocals, but her toned down songs are nice, too.

The thing about IAMSF is it seemed to have “flaws” but just about everyone was done on purpose! Like how the I am.. side flowed so well together some people say the songs sound the same or how the Sasha side seemed to be all over the place

It took me a while to get into Sweet Dreams. The thing that put B’day over IASF in my mind is that uptempos on B’day trumps IASF. Even Diva which is my fave uptempo on SF, pales in comparision to the uptempos on B’day. But if there was the I Am CD only, they(B’day and IASF) would be equal, you can that they are cohesive and there were a purpose behind the arrangment of the songs(individually and collectively). But then you wouldn’t have Sasha Fierce so it wouldn’t work. I just wish the production went harder, SD is an example of this. Video Phone is another example.
