Rihanna has a great sound for reggae/caribbean music- I will be the first to tell you that I can’t STAND to hear her ‘sing’ a ballad. Like Unfaithful was for me the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard . But listen to Man Down or even the way you hear her accent on ‘Whats my name’ you cant tell me that she is not a good singer/performer.
And if you really are from the Caribbean, I *really* don’t get your shock/consternation/dislike over her outfits/how she carries herself. Like you neva wine on a bad red ting in ah fete !
