This performance proves that once Songz stays within his manageable vocal range he could put forward a solid show. It was refreshing to hear him hit a high note without imagining someone bungee jumping with his vocal cords. Well done.

Im glad I wasnt the only one that recieved an When A Women Loves vibe from Treys clothing. Thats the first thing that popped into my head when watching him perform. As for the performance, it wasnt anything groundbreaking, but it wasnt horrible either…
Well, I LOVE this song, the performance was solid, but not great. It seems like he holds back for some reason and his voice is kinda shaky. Plus all the hand movements and theatrics were a bit much for me. I know he has to do more than just stand there and sing, but it just seemed so…extra. However this was far better than that horrid performance on The View a few months back. Much better!
He does tend to sound a LOT like R. Kelly though. I dont wanna say he does it on purpose, but I see why everyone says he is a R. Kelly swagger jacker now.
