Vocal powerhouse Jennifer Hudson took centre-stage on The Oprah Wifrey Show today, where she gave the first televised performance of her new single ‘Where You At’.

As much as the recorded version of the song still doesn’t rouse me, Ms. Hudson nailed this live showing. A true act, as they say, is one who knows how to interpret and relay the lyrics they are singing, qualities Jennifer actions with ease. Great performance.
Now Lady Gaga should sing with J Hud. Let’s know who the boss really is. Where you at, Gaga?

Sorry, I have to disagree. I think the problem is she’s NOT properly interpreting the lyrics. She’s got a BIG voice, but there no emotion and accurate interpretation behind it. As for the song itself, KELLZ IS MY DUDE, but this song isn’t very appealing to me. However, it’s off to a good start on the Urban AC and Hiphop/RnB chart.
