There is just no escaping the voice of Jennifer Hudson. The singer made yet another television appearance last evening, this time on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, to promote her new album, ‘I Remember Me’.

The first half is okay, but the second half where she screams is just horrible, in my opinon, especially when she sings “deliver” about 4 times at the end of the song.. thats not singing.. she needs to tone her voice down.. cause i dont believe many could stand that for more then one song

Isn’t Itunes different from actual cd sales from the store. She should do ok, I thought that by actual sales from the store she was to come in at #2 with a projected sale of between 150-200 millions.

Um, Queen Bey needs to study JHud. JHud’s voice is a bazooka. She isn’t shouting, it’s not shouting when you sustain full chest voice with a vibrato. That’s what we call “belt” voice, and that’s something Jennifer Hudson can do effortlessly.
Also, Taylor Swift Fan – you’re an idiot, but the fact that you’re Taylor Swift’s number 1 fan makes your opinion that much more understandable, considering the fact that she’s a horrible singer. No wonder your perception of what constitutes good vocals are so distorted.
True the only others ive seen that have mastered the belt while in upper chest were Whitney and Patti Labelle

STFU, her cd is #7 on iTunes US. Jhud is part of the new gen artists which base the majority of sales from downloads. Retail sales are less important than for older artists. So her tanking at #7 right now is an indication her album is peaking and wont hit past 200k, more like estimates say 160k -170k and that might be high.
@Grant Taylors vocals aint great, but they’re also weak… i’d rather listen to her.. then have this scream the word deliver 4 times.. its just horrible.. my ears couldnt stand it. If you were listening to this girl in a pub, you’d be saying shes aweful, and would wanna move away.

Jennifer is not Whitney for damm sure and she has a voice like many church girls. That´s why I´ve never liked her. But that´s why I´m also surprised I like her album. Where you at is the worse song to me, I don´t like it. I´d prefer if she takes that #1 spot next week.
