Very reminiscent to Whitney or Gloria Gaynor. This song is so euphoric. People will no doubt be loosing their minds to this tune come summer. That’s Dance hit # 2 for the year. I already hear she has more on the way. Its great that she’s keeping her hands in both sides. That way she can please both her US and her European fan base. She may not have always made the smartest decisions but she does seem to be learning from them and growing as an artist. I can appreciate that.

One thing is for sure she is getting that paper with or without us Americans, and I respect her for her hustle. While I am not a big fan of dance music, I actually do like the song. Her team is smart, while the urban arena is loving “Motivation” she still keeps her international fans satisfied with her dance hits. And these features she does most of the singing anyway. So her exposure is on point internationally. Now all we need her to do is start pushing her new single and her new album here in the US & her brand will be picked up. The blogs love her! Shout out to Kelly for her work ethics, to keep pushing despite people hating because guess what, her pockets still growing!

Kelly has Whitney’s vibe, melodies, and strength when she sings. You can definitely tell that she’s one of Kelly’s inspirations. What I love about Kelly is that when she does Dance/Electronic music, it’s the real s***, not the bubblegum, annoying, poppish mess that we hear on the radio. She delivers amazing vocals, and sings about enjoying life and being happy. This is how these electro-pop, euro-pop, dance-pop, techno-pop, artists should do music! When you mix pop with any genre, it makes it very repetitive, superficial, and manufactured.
This song is okay, not better than “When Love Takes Over” but it’ll do. I can’t believe that “Motivation” is already on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts at #55 when it hasn’t even been commercially released! That’s crazy. I guess “Motivation” will do big in the US.

I just can’t with the electro-pop/dance music. I LOVED Ms. Kelly. I still bump that album and I actually went to Walmart and brought it when it came out. But I can’t with the type of material she continously releases. Beyonce did it with Sweet Dreams and Radio, but it still had that urban/pop feel to it. All this autotune effects mess in her voice, I CAN’T! Kelly, when you go back to Daylight, or Bump Like This, or Love Again, holla at me.
