Jessie J’s ‘Who You Are’ album hit stores in the US today and in her usual fashion she kicked off the celebration of the album’s release with an energetic performances, this time on ‘The Today Show’. The LP has already climbed to #2 on the main iTunes chart with little promotion.

I think she’s an amazing artist but her performance of L.O.V.E was kind of ehhh. She sang flat through the whole song. I’ll blame it on the lack of being able to hear because of lack of monitors.

It amazes me how talented british singers find great (commercial and critical) success in USA ( Adele, Jessie J) while wack, err… I meant not-so-talented singers get sold out arenas in UK ( THAT one, and THAT *aging* one too). Oh well.
CONCLUSION: Dont believe anything Justin Timberlake says. She’s def not the best singer in the world today. But then he’s white. What does he know about music.

She’s okay…the songwriting for “Price Tag” sounds ghetto and weird. Her vocals are decent, but she’s no Jennifer Hudson, Monica or Adele. “L.O.V.E.” sounds god awful. Again, the Europeans will consider anything talent these days, even Britney Spears and Jessie J.

She said she was losing her voice on UK press cos she got the flu, at least she didn’t cancel her appearences, i noticed she took the pitch lower for both songs too… we all Jessie J can alot better, especially for l.o.v.e, stop giving talented artists a hard time, i wud like to hear these strong critics about britney spears, who mimes 24/7 and can’t dance no more
