Though at times a lil “breathy” and too talk-sung, vocally Ciara still held her own. As ever, she delivered with the choreography. Solid set.

Ciara is always putting on a superb show. She’s very talented and great when it comes to entertaining live. I love her singing , she definitely holds her own! She has a sweet and very pleasant tone. She’s on key and her pitch is on point everytime I see her perform (even for “Promise” which she sings in a higher register at times while dancing). Some people that has a problem with her voice really makes me wonder if their favs are even capable of this.

I can’t with people thinking this girl is underrated. Underrated is when your talents have never been truly heralded. Ciara once upon a time had the world at her feet and was being praised left right and centre, now people are just tired of her stale dance moves, dull music and wafer thin vocals. And about her being better than Britney, dead! Britney isn’t the performer she used to be but she will always be more successful than Ciara because she has a HUGE fan base who actually buy and support her music. ok i really like Ciara and I think she is the best dancer of her generation BUT there is no WOW factor to her coreography……… she just does a lot of grinding ……………. too bad cuz she could be headling her own tour like Usher, Beyonce, and GaGa if she actually gave concert performances the way she performed at the 2007 BET awards, Lopz Tonight and Ellen……

Ciara did have RiRi’s team. Ciar said in an old interview that L.A. Reid put her in the studio with lil john after hearing Usher’s Yeah track. That’s how she got Goodies. LA Reid moved to Def Jam and gave Rihanna S.O.S after Christina Miklian didnt want it. Reid picked out most of Rihanna’s singles until Disturbia which was her idea according to an inter Reid did with EW.
He carefully shaped RiRi’s career and A&R’d her albums. Ciara was left at Jive and we see what happened. Everybody needs help and Ciara needs a new A&R team if she thinks Gimme That should have been her 1st single. She just needs a new team. Hopefully Reid will end up at RCA/Jive to help Ciara. She should be selling out MSG by now
