Despite becoming Pop’s recurring punchline, Britney Spears continues along the hype that is her latter-day career, yesterday shooting the video for her new single ‘I Wanna Go’.
Shot in Los Angeles yesterday, the clip is the third visual offering from the performer’s ‘Femme Fatale’ LP. Hollywood Life were on set of the shoot and shared the following:
The video, directed by Chris Marrs Piliero, will feature hardly any choreography, “It’s very personality and action driven,” our source said. Rather than play up the sexuality of the song, the piece will showcase Britney’s sense of humor in a playful way. According to our source, “It’s not really indicative of the song at all.”
No word on whether Britney’s stunt double could make the shoot.

I used to like Britney and I still do but its the same thing with her same kind of bubblegum pop music, same kind of music videos, autotuned voice, she needs to do something different, since she had her breakdown she just looks like a zombie, no energy nothing, her performance at the billboards was just pathetic and embarrassing, she looked so uncomfortable and lip synced to the CD version of the songs she was doing even though it was only a few lines and she didnt even bother to pre record it to make it at least seem more live, how people are willing to pay so much money to see her is beyond me, I would be very offended if I went to a concert and the performer was walking around the stage lip syncing to a CD, not intaracting with the crowd, and letting all the dancers do all the work, if shes gonna charge so much money for people to see her at least give them there money worth but then again if people are that stupid to waste there money to see that I dont blame her really, to be honest I think she should just forget about the music industry and live a quiet life with her children, shes always so much happier when shes with them because its obvious that she doesnt want to do this anymore you can even tell from her face in that picture with the fake smile.

I love that song. I have been disappointed in her performances but her music is always top notch. I think Drop Dead Beautiful should be her next single, I love the bass in it. Britney wasn’t the first to sell over a million in her first week but she has the record for highest 1st week numbers for a female and there was illegal downloading at that time so I don’t know what people are talking about. Britney actually has a great sense of humor & comedic timing so I’m excited to see this new video.
