The Saturdays get ‘Notorious’ in the lead offering from their third studio album. In a unique release strategy, the song was first premiered on Chris Moyles‘ BBC Radio 1 show this morning, with it’s accompanying video following 30 minutes later.

A marked departure from the safe sound we’ve come to expect from the fierce five, ‘Notorious’ is refreshing is that guise. What’s more, it boasts a ‘thump’ lacking from their prior releases (‘Work’ aside).
However, the group’s camp, tongue-in-cheek nature somewhat works against them here. For, in attempting to serve up a slick (fast food) hit, its accompanying video drips of nothing of but cheese. And to think it was supposedly shot in Los Angeles.
Still, the clip should suffice, as the song – in all its lyrical emptiness, still bares the signs of being a hit.

Horrible and boring!
NICE ONE FROM THE SATs! THE TRANSITIONS WERE TOO GIRLS-ALOUD-SEXYNONONO-ATTEMPT-FAILED AND THE VIDEO GOT A BIT BORING AFTER THE GOT INTO THE HAPPY HOUR BUT STEEPED UP A BIT MORE IN THE LAST MINUTE.
IT’LL BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THIS WORKS OUT FOR THEM…
I love Notorious one of their best songs yet hope they get a number 1 it is out May 22 please buy a copy xxx
