Former The Inc. crooner Lloyd has taken to Twitter to voice disappointment over his lack of involvement in last night’s ceremony – namely the Patti Labelle tribute and nomination ballot. See what the ‘Get It Shawty’ singer had to say below:

This sounds very Fantasia familiar. Although Lloyd’s new album, King of Hearts, is due in stores on July 5th, there’s no word on tweets voicing disappointment in his absence from the Billboard charts.

Oh the shade! So true I didn’t even know Lloyd had a new album coming out until now. I miss the way he carried himself baxk when he was sucessful with his, Street love album. And Get it Shawty song was his best, plus any song from Street love cd.

Um wasn’t he at the Pre-show? Smh. Why did he wait until after the Awards on Twitter to go off? Weren’t the nominations announced like a month ago? He acts like he didn’t already know this or it’s brand new.
This is almost worse than J Holiday’s flop ass on Twitter on the anniversary of MJ’s death talking about he will be the greatest R&B singer of his time and he broke an MJ record(lies). I can’t with people being extra.
I hate it when current male r&b artists try to remix their songs with R&B legends…..It doesn’t mesh well at all.

You know… His comments wouldnt be so laughable if he had actually continued on his success after the Lil Wayne collaboration, becasue other than “Get It Shawty”, Lloyd’s music really hasnt done much for me. I bought his last album… BIG DISAPPOINTMENT & on the fence about buying this new one.

Wow! I saw this on twitter yesterday but I thought it was a joke and that people were trying to play him! SMH! I can’t believe he said this, not a good look. It makes him look bitter like Lil Kim! SMH.
I do think he kind of has a point though, he is a talented r&b dude but he just gets constantly over looked by artist like Usher, Trey & Chris. He has had several hits recently & throughout his career but I don’t recall him ever performing or even being nominated for a BET Award. BET is pretty much the only crowd that would be checking for him. If he doesn’t get love there he doesn’t get it anywhere. So I see why he is disappointed.
I think he has a nice voice & I LOVE a lot of his records, especially that ‘Cupid’ song. His performance at the Pre Show was pretty good. His vocals were on point but he doesn’t have the best stage presence. HonesltyI think Tank & R. Kelly deserved a nomination over Lloyd though. Since they actually had albums out.
Maybe next year when he has released his album he would get some love. But then again by next year his album could have come & gone by then. I don’t think people are really checking for his album like that either. We shall see. *shrugs*
Lloyd is beautiful and s***. I love his hair rather its long or short. He is expressing himself ya’ll. Lloyd is underrated. He deserve tobe put out there more. Cupid is my favorite song for this year. Lloyd keep pushing yourself, don’t give up because that’s why Chris Brown is where he’s at because he didn’t give up. He pushed himself inspite of all the drama.

LMFAO!!!!!! He’s going to try to put BET on blast for not nominating him after the award show! Honey, you performed at the pre-show, which was a hot mess, and you were up against some heavy competition such as Chris Brown and Usher, why would they put you in the same category as them? The BET Awards are so important to urban, black acts because it recognizes them when mainstream won’t, which is fine because to be mainstream you have to be very poppish or crossover. He needs to get over it. They didn’t nominated CERROR’s funky ass (LMFAO just thinking about it), but she didn’t say anything. You lucky they even invited you there.
