Jennifer Hudson did not have to worry about living under anyone’s spotlight when she rocked the crowd today at ‘Good Morning America Summer Concert Series’.
The recently re-invented Oscar winner treated fans to dazzling renditions of some of her most well loved music. Earlier this year, she scored a Billboard 200 top ten album with her sophomore release ‘I Remember Me‘.

Seeing JHud nowerdays, just confirms to me that although talented, the greatest talent to emerge from American Idol is, without doubt, Fantasia Barrino.
I was a big fan of Jennifer back then, not so much now, although she is obviously good.
For me, JHud’s best recording is still her take on “Neither one of us” which she did just after AI3.

The four best vocalists that season were Fantasia, JHud, Latoya & George but if this rigged show had allowed them to be the final 4 and the true final 2 of Fantasia & JHud, ratings for AI would have tanked – yt wouldn’t have watched that final but people with an ear for true singers know that a Fantasia vs JHud final would’ve blown the roof off.
