Following a series of photos featuring R&B newcomer, Frank Ocean, in the studio with certified hitmakers like Beyonce and Pharrell, this candid with hip hop legend Jay-Z seems a welcomed addition to the collection. The shot is from a session for Jay-Z’s forthcoming solo album, which will feature a track with the singer/songwriter. Ocean, whose single, ‘Novacane’, is currently No. 19 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart, will also appear on Jay-Z and Kanye West’s upcoming ‘Watch The Thrown’ LP, due out August 2.

LMAO!! Agreed! He is a dope songwriter but I’m not really impressed with his own material. His voice is annoying to me & I swear all his ish sounds like he recorded it when he was on a acid trip or some s***! All of it’s just so slow & depressing!
I had barely heard of his ass until he tried to get cute with CB. He may be considered ‘new’ since he is just putting himself out there but he has been trying to make it for years now & we are just hearing about him. We shall see if he becomes the ‘next big thing’ in r&b but I am doubtful. Very.
