After moving a staggering number of tickets for his June 6 date at the GeireDome in Arnhem, the Rap titan has confirmed a colossal June 11 show at the 60,000-capacity Orange Vélodrome in Marseille, marking his first headline dates on the continent in 12 years. A stop in Reggio Emilia follows in July.
The Marseille stadium, home to Olympique de Marseille, is famed for its electric energy, a fitting backdrop for Ye’s theatrical live spectacle. France, of course, holds special significance for the star, dating back to the ‘Ni**as In Paris’ era with Jay-Z.
With his new album ‘Bully’ reportedly due March 20, Ye appears to be going all out.
