The lead video in support of her critically acclaimed ‘BlackOut’ album, Britney Spears‘ ‘Gimme More’ video remains one of her most controversial to date.
Coming under fire for its provocative nature and soon followed by the infamous ‘train crash’ performance at the MTV Music Video Awards 2007, it still remains the poster child for all that is right (or wrong) with the starlet.
Now, four years after its debut, an alternative version of the video has surfaced.

With her latest LP ‘Femme Fatale’ not shifting the figures many of her fans were hoping it would, it’s no surprise that this clip has surfaced now. For, very much in tune with the rest of her career, it’s Britney‘s previous work that is forced to pick up the pieces that are her current ‘situation’.

What are we comparing this to, the other version? Both are pretty crap- but the song is still one of her best ever!!! It was weird to actually see her smile… And the nudity was rather gratuitous… I mean it didn’t do her any favors in this vid.

Probably one of worst videos to date. If you gonna act like a h** on a pole at least do it right. Alternate version wasn’t really special. And she’s rich with that s***** ass weave on. Ha! I was just listening to Blackout today, don’t know why this video surfaced but it makes me sad. I was worried about Britney then, the media was stalking her just waiting for her to snap again. You should know the award Beyonce got was made up, check the Billboard awards history, its the first one. The orginal award “The Century Award” was offered to Janet Jackson but she was unable to make it so it was then offered to Beyonce as a decade award.
If you check back throught the tweets of the guy who runs the billboard awards, he said a very special Jackson sister would be recieving it. however I didnt see any Jackson sisters at the show, and really who else would be getting it, Latoya… lol
