Published: Tuesday 9th Aug 2011 by David

Two weeks after her passing, Amy Winehouse‘s  God Daughter Dionne Bromfield has openly discussed the tragic demise of the ‘Back To Black‘ entertainer with BBC’s Radio 1.

Amy’s appearance with Ms. Bromfield at the 2011 Itunes Festival was the last public appearance the singer made before her death in her home in Camden, London.

I have to be cynical here. I wonder how much attention Dionne would be getting if Amy hadn’t passed away…..

And how much of this interview was actually focussed on Dionne’s career and not about Amy?

Whether she realises this or not, she’s being used so that the media can squeeze every little bit of info about Amy until there’s none left, and they ain’t gonna care about Dionne after that.

    Dionne who? Warwick?

So what if they don’t care about her career after it’s all died down. She wants to tribute Amy by talking about her in a positive way what is wrong with that? She’s a brave girl.

It’s one thing to pay tribute to her and then move on, but another thing when Amy is the focus of all interviews rather than what’s going on with her.

http://dionnebromfieldmusic.com/news/142 – whose name is highlighted here?

The interview (I read it myself) was filled with sentences that were handpicked and highlighted with anecdotes about Amy.

I love Amy, don’t get me wrong. She was a singer like no other, and her vivid songwriting showed that she put her life on wax. But the media should stop and let her rest in peace, and not use Dionne by acting like “we’re so sorry for your loss, it must be so hard for you” etc…..

That isn’t the full interview, the bulk of the interview was about Dionne’s new track with Tinchy Stryder which is the official 2012 olympic torch song. Dionne was like a daughter to Amy and Amy would want Dionne to be the world’s next superstar. RIP Amy

DIONNE IS GONNA BE SOMETHING IN A FEW YRS. YOU CAN TELL. GREAT COMMUNICATOR, BETTER THAN THOSE TWICE HER AGE. VERY POISED AND PUT 2GETHER FOR A 16YR OLD.

Dionne has the talent to back it up despite what a few of yall have said. AND if anybody is going to tribute Amy Winehouse on television like what I heard the MTV Awards is planning, they had better not get effin Xtina Aguilera to do any Amy s***. First of all, Xtina is disliked by Amy’s friends such as Kelly Osbourne, and if any1 is going to tribute Amy it better include her protege Dionne, if you watch her performances, she carries alot of Amy’s spirit, her mannerisms are the same and the sound is familiar. I think Dionne was a great student to sum1 who was GENIUS
