Former 3LW singer Naturi Naughton originally gained critical acclaim for her portrayal of rap’s Queen Bee Lil’ Kim in the 2009 biopic ‘Notorious’. And though making minor appearances on the big and small screen since then, reports have now surfaced the 27-year-old budding actress is preparing to join the cast of the ‘Wolverine’ sequel.

Naughton will play Cecilia Reyes, a former X-men member and doctor, who has the abilities to generate a forcefield that is tied to her life force; she can also use that force to provide her with basic weapons like spikes, hammers and battering rams.
Though the movie won’t be released until 2012, fans can still catch Naughton on NBC’s ‘The Playboy Club’ this fall.

No.. Ive been a music freak since the 90’s. so i grew up listening to 3lw and knew them very well. jus like Destiny’s Child, Xscape, Blaque, Tlc, 702 ect.. . i knew what parts they played in the group and everything. Kiely and Adrienne had a fight with Naturi at a Sonic Or Dairy Queen. Threw food at her and kicked her out the group, They even replaced her with a Vibe Magazine Vixon that looked like her.Which didn’t last .. like FARRAH in Destiny’s Child l. ”Curious” by Naturi is a nice song.. Im glad shes getting they fame she deserves. And i also agree!! She is a great actress
