With Lil Wayne set to drop his hotly anticipated ‘Tha Carter IV’ LP immediately after he hits the stage at this Sunday’s VMA’s, no time seems more apt than the present to premiere the video for project’s latest single ‘How To Love’.
Check out the Hip-Hop titan as he slows down and softens up below…

Wow – Haven’t seen a video like this in awhile.
i liked it
It was okay at best.
Awweee.. I Like It But Are All The Girls In The Video Suppose To Be The Same Person?.. I Dunno.. lol
Yeah I agree. I luv this song and was kind if surprised to hear it from Wayne. Really good vid. Amazing how our life circumstances forces us to make decisions that no doubt create these kinds of domino effects. Not true for everyone but most ppl tend to succumb to the negative if they feel like they’re less than and have convinced themselves that there is no way out. Growing up where I have u see both sides and a third.
OH MY GOSH………….I LOVED IT! I NEVER EXPECTED THIS AT ALL! I HOPE THE PARENTS TELEVISION COUNCIL DOESN’T RUN THEIR MOUTHS OVER THIS LIKE THEY DID WITH MAN DOWN!
Its aiight…… 😐
Still hate da song though 😕
This is my song! The video’s not bad. I’ll have to watch it again, because at times I confused the daughter with the mom. I like that it has a message though.
WOW WAYNE THIS IS NICE MAN!!!!! REALLY GOOD VIDEO LOVE LOVE LOVED IT !!!!
Very deep message! I’m still confused on some parts though, loved it however!

i never liked him ! but this song is listenable ! 6/10 !
I don’t like Wayne, but I like the song and vid
Sounds like beyonce’s broken hearted girl lol
let me say iHATE this song , it sounds like he was copying from Drake and Kanye’s work, his voice “singing” sounds terrible he smoke too many blunts, and drank too many white cups of alcohol and syrup to be tryn to sang , plus the song sounds insincere coming from a “crook” like wayne how has fifty-eleven baby mamas. This song is a ploy to get urban black women to buy his over hyped album…
now with that said this is the est video he’s ever done 🙂
Sounds like beyonce’s irreplaceable!!
I can do without the song but I did enjoy the visual. Quite refreshing from what we’re accustomed to seeing.
I absolutely love this song……..even though its LiL Wayne! Was hoping for a video.
some chick in my class said she couldnt get this song outta her head… ive never heard it.. and i never will
i will not support Hip-Hop killers
I always loved the song & this is a really great video…really great. Wayne’s a lot of things, but he’s always had a good heart. You can tell he loves his children & he’s a great father. So, I’m not surprised he was able to think of this concept.
I know A LOT of girls that could relate to this video. It reminded me a lot of 90s Hip Hop. Big ups to Weezy for this one! Real talk.
& stans are f****** annoying.
I can’t believe people are giving shade to this video!?!?!? Are you serious?!?!?!? Black people we need to wake up! This was one of the most positive images a rap artist has ever put on the screen and you guess are like, “blah” and “its ok”…. SMDH!

ALL OF THIS!!!
And might I add that this whole “song/video with a message” also came from a “man” that claimed that he’d “murder your kids” bc he jdgaf and he was the devil (or something to that effect). After that, I refused to support ANYthing from him. But I do find it quite funny that the gremlin who wants to f*ck every girl in the world & claims to be a venereal disease came up with this video. He’s a walking oxymoron & #iCant with him…

Um, this video is like “Unpretty” TLC at the beginning. Good message, but it is a little strange from someone who talked about having s** with every girl in the world and killng babies. Just sayin ‘
nice.
I really love this video, it had a story and a message…….Love the song tooo. Very rare from any hip-hop artist now adays
Reminds me of TLC’s “Unpretty”.
Not a bad thing though.
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VISUAL. THE TOPIC HAS BEEN TOUCHED BEFORE BUT WAYNE CERTAINLY HELD IT UP ON IN A DIFFERENT WAY. VERY POIGNANT.
Interesting twist, didn’t see that coming
BLAH. yal but into this b******* too easily. i find it difficult to take anything from lil wayne serious -__- another walking contradiction. =T
LOVE IT! U PPL ALWAYS TRYING TO JUDGE SOMEONE, JUST TAKE THE MESSAGE HE WAS TRYING TO GIVE IN THIS VIDEO AND MOVE ALONG, NO NEED FOR ALL THE DUMB COMMENTS
I love the song and the video. It has a good message.
(already done) Keep Ya Head Up >>>>>>>> How’d Love<<< (hated it)
and didnt he rip off a TLC with this concept
I love the video!! My girl @chantapatton is the lead – she really does her thing to make you feel what so many black women in that positiion might go through trying to learn self love.
This song waz Beastin yo!!!!!!!!!!
Whoever dont like it dont hate on it just shut up and go away cuz im pretty sure nobody cares.
Second Lil Wayne is original, he don’t sound like noone else, he owns his songs, so dont try to compare him, cuz ur gunna get hated on:} like im forealz .
This waz an amazing song, love the video too. The video is a lil confussing to some people who cant seperate the momma from the daughter, but if u look the mom has the bigger forehead!
I admire Lil Wayne very much, he is a hard worker, is fine, and disearves to be where he is!
Who cares if he smokes weed, get over it, cuz im pretty sure almost everyone hatin and postin on that fact will try it at least once, oh and if u remeber he signed on drake, and nikki. And he don’t sound nothin like Beyonce, or drake!
Dude Haters need to chillaxe on the lyrics thing cant u just be happy its a song most kids can relate too, it has a good concept, its morally good, and lyrics are lyrics, get over it, u dont like it, dont listen to it! someone has always got somethin to complain about, nothins good enough for yall insects [insects by the way if ur not smart enough to figure it out means the human race or haters]
You know ppl say s*** that they really don’t mean like im sure if u got kids and they are lil then thy say stuff to other kids like ima kill u but in all realness they r joking, i don’t see the diff. i mean ur teens and tweens tell there parents that they hate them and some of them really do, i know i do, but they don’t really mean it , they r just pissed off at you
So stop being stupid, stop judging, which if u ask me since all yall ppl complaining about it r quote on quote ” Living For GOD” u shuld know that nobody has the right to judge anyone, get over the fact that he says a couple of bad things (which believe it or not those angel kids if ya got any, r not angels no matter what u mite think, trust me im one of em) cuz no matter how much “You R For GOD” or if u have kids r tryin to “Protect Them” its a lost cause because for one, like i said earlier u have no right to judge, and secondly if u are tryna sheild ur kids ur just bringing them up fake, they r learning that the world is happy and safe, which it isint, and sooner or later they will hear, speak, and listen this language.
Pardon my French:))
