Some days ago, comments allegedly made by media mogul Simon Cowell with regards to Pop Empress Beyonce and one time partner in crime Lady GaGa, spread like wildfire when he was reportedly quoted as saying ‘they were boring and based entirely on looks’.
Now the X Factor USA judge has set the record straight.

On the allegations he labelled both ladies boring, his representative told RadarOnline:
This was completely misreported. It’s the complete opposite in fact.He thinks they are two of the most interesting, talented and relevant artists today.
Going onto say:
Simon is a massive fan of both and he always refers to them as amongst the artists he most admires.
Simon himself explained:
Beyonce is the biggest star we’ve seen in 20 years; we’re seeing sort of the rise of the super female pop star. It’s like a different breed.
Beyonce has that. When it comes to GaGa- she is the most relevant pop artist in the world at the moment. I’ve met her. She is very smart. I like her.
Adding:
She is a total, utter star … You have to be open and embrace this level of expression. You hope to God that you can find someone like her.
WHOAH!
Thank God that’s all cleared up.
For if he did indeed call either of these ladies ‘boring’ , it would only serve to damage any future chances of them guest starring on the X Factor USA .
That being the last thing either he or FOX would want, considering the fact that both songbirds have at one time or another boosted ratings of the X Factor UK series with highly publicized performances.
