Elusive by most counts, the Sarah Chatfield / Frank Gatson directed clip is for many fans long-overdue.
The wait, however, is soon to be over, with Rowland revealing the clip’s premiere date.

Honestly I’m excited but couldn’t give a s*** anymore. Kelly should’ve handled this project a lot better and thought things through when she decided to sign onto xfactor. She let this project go to waste and I’m disappointed in her. I love the album but I’m not going to go out and spend almost $15 on somebody’s album if they’re not going to promote or even try to sustain the sales. You’ve got to get out there and convince us why we should buy your album and so on. You can’t just expect us to buy it just because Motivation was a hot song. Anyway I wish the best for her with the next album and hope that she gets her s*** together and actually promotes the damn thing.

im excited and ready for it – she did say that this would be a long process and i for one realizes that now – plus based off the fact that she is about to release the uk version with the official 3rd single sometime this month or next then in actuality we are getting 2 videos from her so im good. Plus id rather have singles that are slow and planned versus 8 separate videos released with no real direction so im good – shes pulling a katy perry on us just the urban version – 1 single 1 video then 4 months to marinate and then another single and video with the same formula – that would make a 3 rd single due sometime in january with a possible 4th in may 2012 for the US and something similar in the UK culminating in her tour for Spring 2012 – i for one will be ready – hell im glad that her team chose a second single and stuck with it (we all know how ms kelly went down) so im ready plus the video looks serious! lay it on me ohhhhhh lay it on me!!!! Kelly isn’t the only artist on Universal Label. To a great xtent what she does depends on the budget for her project. She is in UK as of now where she is relevant! It doesnt matter where the Album is sold, so long as it’s sold! incase u didnt know, she is a Judge in UK’s biggest Talent Show. Down for Whatever will b released in the UK on the 31st of October with a Video to b served similarly. She is building her Fanbase now. She is doing her thang so stop tha Hating!

Okay everyone my belief on the “Here I Am” project is this. I don’t think Universal or any company for that manner are concerned with album sales its all about singles. Especially over here in the states. I also think the main emphasis is about building the Brand of Kelly. Thats why she is already at work on another album due in spring. 2007 – ‘Ms. Kelly’ U.S. 86.7K – First Week/222,000 in-total, and 1.1-Million WW.
2011 – ‘Here I am’ 77k – First Week, and the said pathetic, “current less-than 170K”.
