Just in time for Halloween, ePiX drops its latest teaser from Britney Spears‘ most recent Tin-man choreographed worldwide trek ‘The Femme Fatale Tour’ – this time giving fans a glimpse at ‘I’m a Slave For You’. The cut, lifted from Brit’s famed 2001 self-titled album, is a haunting reminder of a time when the pop princess was able to distract you from her shameless lip syncing with an engaging performance.
Landing on screens November 12th at 8pm, fans can whet their appetites with this clip from the ‘Criminal’ singer’s showing below:
Sigh. Criminal indeed. Truly Halloween appropriate visual as the only thing more frightening than her seeming lack of care was my urge to spray WD40 on the screen for those stiff dance moves. For, unlike music videos, fancy cuts and editing do not completely disguise what live performances display loud and clear.
Alas, with videos like ‘Criminal’ giving us a bit of the old Brit we came to know and love, here’s to (unrealistically) hoping that future endeavors are more ‘In the Zone’ than zoned out. Because, if Madge, Janet, and J.Lo are still breaking it down on the choreography tip, surely Brit can do more than those mannequin inspired moves.

Britney is a hasbeen now and this is coming from a fan, she will always be the Britney we grew to love but how people can still say she *slays* is beyond me..
I went to this concert so I can say how amazing it was…but this preview made me cringe. Like omg she looked like Rihanna. Slow,sleepy, and drunk. But the concert was good.

That was horrible. The weird thing is that when I saw her do I’m a s**** for you at staples at the beginning of this tour she ripped the choreo. It looked like old Britney. And I was close… Though I did see her early in the tour. All said, That was a lackluster clip. :-/

She was an amazing dancer before. She was the only one doing double back flips, back bends, and all sorts of tricks on tour. Her “Onyx Hotel tour” had great dancing. Great footwork and very precise moves. TBH she could dance better than J. Lo at her prime. Only She and Janet and probably Paula Abdul were the great dancers.

I can see the improvement compared to ‘Circus’ which was a nightmare.At least now, I can see that she can follow the pace of the song, synchronize with the dancers (even though the moves are basic, so it’s not hard to synchronize) and her moves seem more solid and studied than what she displayed in 2007-2009.However, saying that she has a LOOOONG way to go until she goes back to being a great performer is an understatement 😕
‘Femme Fatale’ is probably one of the best pop albums of the year, so when it comes to her musical niche (fun pop music) she is still delivering and then some.He fans and her supporters (including myself) can still like Britney for her music even though her performances are not enjoyable enough.She’s still stiff and robotic and she doesn’t look comfortable, but at least she is able to move and execute some basic steps now, which is good for her standards 😎

I love Britney, and have since ’99. I think its unfair to compare her to Janet and Madge, because Britney has “gone through it” in a way that no one really has. Britney is truly a broken person, a busted pop star and a prisoner trapped into performing on stage for the money$$$

there is footage of britney’s 20 greatest dance moves and even though i was finally convinced she was a great dancer claiming she was better than jlo is more than going waaay over board. in this footage there were no backbends or flips i you would think there would have been.
i saw the ‘onyx tour’ on cable and i saw no great dancing. isn’t that the tour that was cancelled due to an alledged knee injury?
