While fans anxiously await the visual to pop starlet Rihanna‘s ‘We Found Love’, the songstress can be found on Coldplay‘s “Princess of China”. The cut, lifted from the band’s Mylo Zyloto (October 24), finds the bleat Queen traipsing back into Rock meadows as demonstrated by her assistance in earlier cuts ‘If I Never See Your Face Again’ and even her own ‘RockStar 101’.

I don’t really see what Rihanna added to this alarm clock song. Even her usual repetitive “na nas”, “ay ays”, or “neighs” would’ve been welcomed here to spice a bit of life to her addition. The song is hot,undoubtedly, but it lacks a bit of -umph. Maybe an accompanying video will change that, given that it is the ‘Pon De Replay’ singer’s forte.
She shines best in edited clips of her lip-syncing, standing still, and modeling.

Um….I honestly don’t like it…it’s just not my cup of tea. I respect Cold Play but I’ve never really been a big fan of thier’s anyway. The beat is just so over powering and I can’t even hear their voices. Rihanna doesn’t even sound like herself, it sounds like a demo of someone trying to be her.
One thing I can honestly say I respect about Rihanna is that she takes risk with her sound and doesn’t do the same type of music over and over again, whether it pays off or not. *shrugs*
I do think Cold Play was just trying to capitalize off of Rihanna’s fame by adding her to this track because there really was no need to add her to it. *shrugs*

So…let me get this straight. When Beyonce puts out an album and it flops hardcore commercially and on the charts…her stans are allowed to say that the album is good and that’s sucess in itself and that’s all that matters blah blah blah…
but when Rih put out Rated R (which actually sold considerably well WW)…people knocked her up and down cause it was “flopping”…yet critics and fans agreed (still agree) that it was a really amazing album…

I actually like it. One thing I can say about Rihanna, is that she’s not afraid to try different things. It’s not just with the music, but she’s even willing to change up her clothing style as well as her hair color and hair styles too. This is what keeps her interesting to the public.
She’s smart and knows how to use that to her advantage. As an artist, you never want people to become bored with you. Predictability can ruin an artist’s career quick, fast and in a hurry! Rihanna is nowhere near predictable! You never know what she’s going to do next. Her musical styles differ too. She can do a song with Jay-Z and then turn right around and do a song with Maroon 5 like it ain’t no thang! When people become familiar with what you’re going to do next, they’ve already lost interest in you. But, with Rihanna, you never know what she has up her sleeve, and that is what keeps people coming back for more.
