I keep saying she should be the new mariah.. just come out all swagged out and doing heavy urban sounds with the crazy melismas and background vocals. But they keep pushin pop down our throats.. We have enough pop princesses!! JoJo was gone for too long to reclaim her “Leave” and “Too Little Too Late” days.

All the complaints about the covers stem from the fact that there are different posts for each performance.ALL the short performances that TGJ has posted during the last few days happened at the same venue (Hard Rock Cafe).She had a mini-concert there and she performed 4-5 covers.That wouldn’t be a problem if all the performances were gathered in ONE post, but they leak left, right and centre and TGJ posts them as soon as they surface.It’s a good thing for JoJo fans and I’m sure noone would complain if it wasn’t for the multiple posts 😉 Don’t get distracted by the number of the articles and try to enjoy the covers or at least don’t complain about them 🙂

for taking on a bey song I think she did pretty good .. Crazy by gnarls was waayy better tho .. I agree with someone above they need to market her to more urban/pop .. She has the look to draw in the appeal of rihanna and the talent to draw in the industry praise of beyonce .. I mean her recent mixtape was a GREAT mixture of urban/pop and I got so excited and then she releases the single and its too little too late part 2 .. I really hope the album has that soul because her voice is wayyyy to soulful for your everyday pop ballad

Not sure if anyone else saw them but she did perform, Disaster, Leave get out, Too little too late, and jumping trains. All of her own tracks. She just does these covers as an added bonus

That was pretty good, for the small snippet that it was. I think it was actually better than it sounded, due to the sound system sucking!! Glad that she’s not to proud to build her brand back up on the ground level. In the long run end her artistic credibility will benefit greatly -to all those near-sighted posters!!

If “Crazy In Love” is a classic then so is “The Thong Song,” and “My Neck, My Back,” timeless right? PULEASE. Nothing BIONCI has ever done is original, classic, iconic, or legendary. find it funny that all these people are complaining about her doing covers. She is doing a series of free concerts with Hard Rock with 100% of the proceeds going towards breast cancer research. First of all, Kudos to JoJo for that. She is always involved in some kind of charity. Second of all, to keep it interesting and fun, she is doing a different cover in each city. ALL ARTISTS DO COVERS DURING THEIR LIVE SHOWS…at least, the good ones do. It gives the fans something special to experience when they come to their shows. UNDERSTAND THE BUSINESS BEFORE HATIN’!! She is performing her own songs too. Press is covering the covers because she sounds sooooo good. I’m ready for JUMPING TRAINS 2012

This was definitely a solid performance. We all know JoJo can sing, she has a great voice and can sing the hell out of an r&b song. It was a good cover of both songs. Beyonce actually did a rendition like this at her Beyonce Experience tour and I think that’s where she got it from.
I’m not really feeling her ‘Disaster’ single though. I already thought it had been released to radio. I guess we’ll see how it does. *shrugs*
