Despite becoming somewhat of an unfamiliar face in R&B of late, ‘Turning Point‘ crooner Mario remains one his genre’s more acclaimed entertainers, with two Gold albums under his belt.
Now, he is hoping to add another successful project to his discography.
Find out when below…
On February 7th 2012, fans of the singer can get their hands on his latest album ‘Restoration‘.
To be released by RCA Records, the LP follows the albums ‘D.N.A’ and ‘Turning Point’ which spawned the singles ‘Let Me Love You‘ and ‘Here I Go Again‘.
With production credits from the likes of Rico Love, the LP has described by the performer as being ‘club centric‘ and ‘not typically R&B‘.
We just hope this is album is worthy of Mario’s status as one of R&B’s premium vocalists and is more trendsetting than fashion following.
Because, he is too talented to release a project filled with generic ‘baby making’ numbers that score well in the clubs but fare poorly where it really counts.
so underrated and s***…ill support him
Who?
He fell off after “Let Me Love You” His best single was “Just a Friend”
please no house s***!!
stick to the ” let me love you” kind!
He is very talented so Im looking forward to see what he has to offer
When in doubt go techno/club/synth for safety and still flop.
Rico Love… please
‘TURNING POINT’ WAS A PLATINUM ALBUM. THANK YOU. HE’S A BETTER SINGER THAN CHRIS BROWN, TREY SONGZ, LLOYD, MIGUEL, AND BOBBY V. J. HOLIDY, MARIO, NE-YO, AND BRUNO MARS ARE REAL SINGERS.
Good to hear.
He had a rocky year I wish him the best.
He’s s***. I just hope the song has an R&B sound and doesn’t try to explore into other genres.
Mario is one of the few r&b singers out now who can actually sing (ie vocal technique). He needs to release a ballad so people can remember that. I really hope r&b makes a comeback.
Didn’t he beat up his own MOTHER, shouldn’t he be in jail ?
