Set to perform at London’s 02 Arena to deliver a performance of her ‘Loud Tour’ last night, Ms. Fenty found herself on the receiving end of boos and and insults from the crowd after failing to get onto the stage almost two hours after she was supposed to.
This comes just weeks after after she enraged fans in Belfast by arriving on stage an hour and a half later than scheduled, reportedly causing attendees who had used public transport to get to venue to miss the last available trains home.
While we empathize with those affected negatively by Fenty’s tardiness, we can’t say we are surprised by it.
For what did they expect from someone who clearly treats her artistry as a part time job, seemingly more interested in playing dress up than arriving on time for a show that quite honestly was always going to be a waste of time to begin with.
