Fox’s much hyped British import has finally kicked off on American soil and looks set to be the biggest show of its kind.
Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, the show favours American Idol with its nationwide auditions. However, there is a defining twist in that groups and solo acts over 25’s are eligible to enter.
After weeks of auditions and bootcamp we now enter the live shows where the narrowed down top 9 are battling to advance to the next stage of the competition.

I’m only rooting 4 Melani, Rachel Crow, Marcus Houston, and kravitz. Drew sounds the same week in and out. Her performance last week revealed her weakness of not being able to sing powerful ballads that change tunes. Melani rushed the beginning of the song last week but I’ll give her pass since she finished well. Ashtro is at the wrong competition. I don’t see him winning this. Chris Renee can’t sing. His votes are mostly sympathy votes. He wines and can’t hold a note when he tries to sing.
Josh is easily the best of the competition, I also like Astro, Rachel and Melanie
Rachel Crow has a good voice for a tot performer. Unfortunately she’s like the modern day black version of Shirley Temple. Good as a child but sucks as an adult. Too bad she will be fat when she grows up (tell by the kid’s look and body structure now). Prolly end up like a Jill Scott body type. That’s her drawback – she’s a kid and looks change as she grows up as does her voice. Many kid artists grow up failures as adult and cant transist into mature adult stars from childhood found fame. Same thing for Astro. He will be caught in drink and drugs, hangers ons, and arrests. Typical kanye hip hop arrogant attitude. Quite frankly I dont see ANY act is making it long term. NOT worth $5 mil advance at all. Like majority reality acts they will dropped after fist cd.

My first batch (using local, raw, cultured cream)was easy and perfect…my second batch (using same great stuff), ended up looking like warm whipped margarine. Where did I got wrong? what can i do to save this batch? I’m wondering if time in the fridge will help, then I can press it again to remove more liquid?
