Despite insinuating she would be taking a break from music some months ago, Rapper Lil Mama has announced that she is to release a new album in coming months.
The confirmation of the project came at the Digiwaxx Event in New York City some nights ago.

Say what you will about Mama, but there is no denying her passion for music and performance.
For, despite suffering a number of very public embarrassments- her love for entertainment and her support base seems to be just as in tact as it was when she first debuted.
Here’s to hoping this album showcases the talent that has unfortunately become so easy to ignore.

People need to ease up off Lil Mama and stop acting like we didn’t think Nikki Minaj bit her hard with the Pink Friday debut. Lil Mama stayed humble on that tip and her crashing Jay-Z & Alicia Keys is old news. This chick can flow. Seriously, some people treat hating like a 24-7 job.
Lil Mama has a international fan base with MTV & ABDC being a worldwide televised program. I STAND 100% behind anything Lil Mama releases. She is the Left Eye & Missy Elliott of our time, & i will buy the album 5 times. All of our female rappers should collaborate. Quit the unessecary Nicki Minaj controversy out. Let the talent be displayed if its there, & Lil Mama has definitely blazed the charts with 4 top ten singles & one at #1. Most during the same time. Now…..
