..Let’s take “2009-to-present Beyonce”: Lady Gaga has COME FROM NO WHERE for AND TOOK a good amount of “market share” from Beyonce. In just 2-short years, she’s managed to create a World Wide Brand for herself. And what’s MOST curious; and at the same time MOST troubling for Beyonce/Brand-Beyonce, is the fact that “Brand Gaga” has “staying power”, when compared to Beyonce/Brand-Beyonce. Beyonce is now the “glamor girl”. She’s flawless in every-way, from every angle! ..But, she’s NOW in her 30s, and with the stress and difficulties of mother-hood fast approaching, those ‘worry-lines and gray hairs’ will shortly be HER reality. And try her best, as she will, to conceal them, the camera’s lens NEVER blinks nor sleeps! You see, we DON’T allow anyone to grow old in the Pop-culture world. Time is fast-ticking, as it surely has for Rihanna, as it is now for Beyonce.
Now, I used the above mentioned example of Beyonce/Gaga, to show you a larger more exaggerated example of what’s happened to your fave (vs Nicki Minaj). Rihanna has been now, for the last 3-years, a near permanent fixture upon the European/World Pop-culture landscape. Once Nicki Minaj gets just a fraction of that “World Wide/Euro” exposure, you’ll see a “mass exodus” from that shaky, sinking, smoldering ‘life-raft flotilla’ formally known as the “Rihanna Navy”.
