Make me laugh when people compares her to people like Rihanna and Kelly Rowland. I love her, she’s a true entertainer, but Nicole is more than that. Kelly vocals are limited and she’s not as versatile as her.
i watched other performances of phantom of the opera she was ok nothing special no where near what real opera singers can do

I’m pretty sure “Phanton of the Opera” is actually not an opera, but a musical. And whilst Nicole is singing classically, of course there are going to be better opera singers because that is their forte, whereas Nicole’s is pop music. I have heard her sing real opera music beautifully though, but this performance was good. The last high note was chilling.

I don’t even like Nicole in the slightest,…………..but I have to say I didn’t know she was that talented. She did a good job!!! Kudos

She has good range, but her vocals lack personality and are often drowned out by the music.

The thing with Nicole is she continues to wow me and earn my respect and loyalty as an artist, but I’m not feeling most of her singles. AMAZING nicole
People don’t know she is a trained classical and opera singer. She isn’t the best opera singer naturally since she didn’t study opera as long as the opera singers and she didn’t really spend all those years singing opera but pop music. Still, I think classical music really is her forte. She shines when she sings classical – it’s like her voice transforms into this beautiful voice but when she sings pop, her voice lacks personality and is bland.
OMFG she hit those notes! Imagine Britney NOT attempting that…
To imagine she was the one singing Don’t Cha… her voice tends to be very Rihanna-like when she sings pop.
Likeability is crucial for her to be big in the US. She just does not have that “it” factor that makes her marketable as a solo act in the US. Also, US music industry always puts artists in “categories” and she is not really an urban or modern day pop act for the usa market because she has no street cred (urban) and no solo pop hits (pop).
Why did Nicole’s Opera performance shyt on her single performance….this is why she will forever be a flop, a talented flop nonetheless. Who wrote her single anyway? It just sounds off.

Either way, that was not opera, that was musical theater.
Nicole has a fine soprano but her voice does not have the kind of support and resonance a true operatic voice has.
Those guys were clearly shutting her down. but those notes she hit at the end were like whoa!
second performance was boring as expected, but the girl can sing. it’s just like @LS said…. her vocals lack personality and the music overtakes the song to the point were you are strainiing to hear what she is saying.
