Drake And Adele Dominate US Album Chart

It’s that time of the week again.

Yes, minutes ago Hits Daily Double published this week’s  sales figures accumulated by albums released in the USA, revealing who came out on top and who might need to step up their promotional game in time for next week.

In at #1 with ’21’ is Adele with 123,258 units sold, suffering a 16% sales decrease since last week, despite being released on the Billboard 200 now almost a year ago.

Drake‘s ‘Take Care’ resides at #2 moving an impressive 43,000 copies, making him the highest selling male artist of the week and placing him two spots above Young Jeezy‘s ‘TM:103′ with 30, 857 copies.

Elsewhere, Rihanna‘s ‘Talk That Talk’ enjoys the #5 position which is four places higher than it was last week, after selling 27,437 units while Mary J. Blige‘s ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues’ slips two places to #23 after holding court at #21 the week before.

Unfortunately for Lady GaGa, ‘Born This Way‘ sold a surprisingly low 13,130 copies while Beyonce‘s ‘4’ moved 11,337 units placing it at #33.
