With only £182, 914 made in its opening weekend, the flick failed to enter the the Top Ten of the UK Box Office.
This, despite the backing of an intense promotional campaign which included, a now viral interview with chat show royal Graham Norton, advertisements on the London underground and her win at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, to name just three.

Maybe if she had spent less time talking about Lady GaGa and more time dishing on this movie, it wouldn’t have done so badly.
Yes, while we understand the motive behind airing out her thoughts on the ‘Heavy Metal Lover‘, it is clear that this is one attention grabbing tool that has worked against Cicconne, with more people interested in her scathing remarks than actually going out to see the film those remarks were in aid of.
Either way, here’s to hoping her upcoming LP ‘MDNA‘ fares much better than this did, as so much is riding on its success.
