On the real, the best collaboration I’ve heard this year is “A Woman’s Love” by Mary J & Beyonce. I don’t think any one will out do that song it is off the hook. I hope Brandy’s version is a little more pop influenced. Full Moon is my favorite Brandy album (which I believe to be her most pop influenced album followed by Afrodisiac).

I hate that everyone tries to stick Brandy into the R&B category. Sure, her first two albums were mostly R&B but her music has had pop elements as well.
I’m a big Brandy fan, and I prefer her more pop influenced songs. It has nothing to do with trying to get her a quick hit. I prefer Brandy doing more pop and that’s just my personal opinion. I def don’t agree with her doing 100% pop, but I like her songs that heavy pop elements.
If she does a track with Nicki Minaj…that’s her decision, but it has nothing to do with her trying to score a hit. Nicki Minaj is relevant right now, so speaking of what will possibly be in two years is irrelevant at the moment. I’m not the biggest Nicki Minaj fan, but some of her stuff is very catchy.

So I’ve listened to the whole song 4 times on a few sites. Monica is going to church give or take a few yoodles, and Brandy is as smooth as ever beautiful riffs! However I’m willing to bet Rico Loves 5th grade cousin wrote the song! These women are 30+ kids and all and the lyrics sound like some teenage foolishness! The fans want grown up music from Monica and Brandy any rapper could be saying this ish! I hope Rico gave Monica this one on the house. Monica has failed at every attempt to convince me that New Life is going to be a good cd. Her team should invest in good writers since she doesnt write herself.
