Azealia Banks has never been one to mince her words.
Indeed, and perhaps even to her detriment, her outspoken nature has made the one to watch when it comes to airing out thoughts on anything related to her genre, or rivals.
Today, following an attack on Kreayshawn, she has weighed in on fellow newbie Iggy Azalea.

Today, XXL Mag released their XXL Freshman 2012 list, listing the Hip Hop acts they feel are set to blow this year.
On that list was none other ‘My World‘ maestra Iggy Azalea, the only female Rapper to make this year’s cut.
So, in response to Azalea’s inclusion and her own exclusion from the list, Miss Banks weighed in on the Rapper via Twitter, with:
Iggy Azalea on the XXL freshman list is all wrong.
How can you endorse a white woman who called herself a runaway slave master.
I’m not anti white girl, but I’m also not here for any1 outside of my culture trying to trivialize very serious aspects of it.
To which Iggy responded:
Don’t bother including my @ name in any of ur salty thoughts either cause… I’m #blockinthat*ss today!!!!
Here’s the thing:
While we understand Azealia’s frustration, neither of them should have made the list.
Because, as of yet, not one Femcee to have come from the Minaj Revival has proved that she is anything but a ‘flavor of the month’. Hot today, but forgotten tomorrow.
Either way, major congratulations to Iggy and the ‘Azaleans’!

THG doesn’t make any sense with the last paragraph. The reason it is called the freshman list Is because they put on people who came out this year who they predict will continue on to rise next year. Part of being a freshman is that you haven’t had more than “15 minutes of fame.” How could you?! You just came out this year! Thus the name “freshmen list.”

As for Azelia if it’s between her and Iggy I’m choosing Iggy, Iggy has a great flow and I love her attitude. Dont know why theres an issue here at all, this is why theres not many females rappers in the game because females egos take over and they just want to be the only female in the game when it shouldnt be like that – there both unique and great lyrically so whats the issue? – fair enough iggy said something that maybe offensive to people but its hip hop get use to it.
